Stories have been my life for as long as I can remember, from asking my mom to read me another bedtime story, to my love of all things Harry Potter and musical theater. Stories like these made me want to be a writer because I wanted to emulate their values of empathy and understanding, integrity, mindfulness, and ability to work toward solutions.
As a graduate of the Writing Seminars program at Johns Hopkins University, I learned the art of storytelling from accomplished professionals in the craft. I further developed my professional skills interning in publishing and developing content in various digital marketing roles, bringing to each role curiosity, creativity, a love of learning, and a keen eye for detail.
Now I bring these values to instructional design, e-learning, and educational media. I earned my masters in Instructional Technology & Media from Columbia Teachers College in May 2024, where I analyzed how cognitive science should inform online learning best practices and took opportunities to gain multimedia learning design experience .
My goal is to combine technology, learning theory, and an understanding of narrative to create powerful educational media for your company. Let’s talk about it!
